Lets get started with the formalities..
Names David Goodson, i’m in my 30’s and I’m a photographer…
Now that’s out the way..a little about me!
Growing up on the outskirts of the New Forest in a small town called Ringwood, I spent most of my youth running around the great outdoors, climbing trees and looking for wildlife. After receiving a disposable camera for my 5th birthday, I started looking at the world I knew in a very different way.
Fast forward a few years…
I’ve managed to build a career in the conservation and wildlife industry, and always maintained my passion for photography as a hobby.
My professional journey started when I snapped a few pictures on a friends camera and received the typical “David, these are fantastic, you could do this professionally”. Since that “light bulb moment”, I have been working professionally as a photographer for two years, while maintaining my career in conservation.
I love the path I’ve written for myself with my two biggest passions and I’m super excited to see where my journey goes in the future!

What can you expect on a shoot with me?
First off…I’m all too aware that people may not be comfortable with a camera pointed at them.. but believe me, once you get into the swing of it you’ll love it!
My shooting style is very relaxed and chilled out, I’m chatty and love to get to know my clients personally. We’ll be laughing and chin-wagging the whole time and before you know it, we’ll have “the shot!” in the bag.
